I’ve seen the following question over and over again. “How do I execute my custom timer jobs immediately?” This would be very helpful for developers who need to test their Timer Job, but don’t want to wait for the Timer Job schedule.

I’ve seen the following stsadm command as the solution.

stsadm -o -execadmsvcjobs´╗┐

However, the only thing this command does is tell the SharePoint admin Timer Jobs to execute as soon as resources are available.

As far as I can tell, there is now way to trigger a Timer Job immediately without writing custom code. If I find something I’ll be sure to follow up. If your reading this and have the solution, please comment below!
