By utilizing these simple formatting tricks, you can easily organize and categorize your highlights in Readwise, making reviewing and retaining important information from your sources easier.
You can do this by simply formatting a note to your highlight.
My favorites include:
Add a tag to your source highlight to tag it when imported into Readwise automatically.
Add a note with a period (.) followed by the name of your tag.
Combine multiple highlights from the source into one highlight in Readwise.
Add a note with a period (.) followed by the letter “c” and then an incrementing number.
This is handy, especially for books where you want to separate your highlights by chapter.
Add a note with a period (.) followed by the letter “h” and the heading level you want.
These tricks make Readwise even more powerful and valuable.
