Change which apps are pinned to the Teams app navigation bar
If you often use Microsoft Planner or some other app within Microsoft Teams, you may want to pin it to the app navigation bar on the left.
This change is made from the Microsoft Teams Admin Center and applies to all users. I do not recommend making this change without first obtaining the appropriate approval and following your internal change management policies.
Browse to the Microsoft Teams Admin Center.
In the left navigation, expand Team Apps, then click Setup policies.
Click on the Global (Org-side default) policy.
Under Pinned Apps, you’ll see a list of the default apps that are in the app navigation bar. You can reorder them, add or remove apps from here.
Click Save when finished.
It will take some time for the changes to appear. Give it a day or so to propagate!
If you use Microsoft Planner within Microsoft Teams, this could be a great way to make the Planner app more visible to users.
